














BMcar: Driving Portugal's First Fully Online Car Purchasing Experience
During the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when every car dealership was closed, BMcar needed a partner to transform its vision into a digital reality that many thought was impossible. Their goal was to create Portugal's first fully online car purchasing experience. They needed a team that could understand their industry, integrate complex financing algorithms, and deliver a business outcome, not just code.
Approach
For this project, Miew provided full product conception, design, and development. We focused on creating a customizable car-buying experience by connecting their stock with finance algorithms to provide real-time results based on a customer's monthly spending needs. The mobile experience was a key consumer focus, and we used a component-based approach with a Google Material design idea for stability and scalability.

We successfully built and launched the BMcar platform. Our team ensured a seamless transition, allowing BMcar to make history by selling the first car completely online in Portugal.
5Learn
Our partnership didn't end at launch. We continue to scale the product with BMcar through continuous product development and innovation. This ensures the platform evolves and remains a market leader.
Results
The results of this project speak for themselves. In the first two months after launch, BMcar sold over 500 cars. The platform also achieved full country expansion. Miew successfully helped create Portugal's first fully online car purchasing experience.
